Maybe it was just me and where "I was at," but I found nothing enjoyable about Honduras. For me, the country was noneventful and boring--no passion. And it was surprisingly overpriced. I was at La Ceiba, which is a true shithole of a city, replete with a feces infested canal around it. I was also on Utila, which godawful boring was teeming with backpackers and annoying locals who looked like they were the result of a tad bit too much inbreeding. I found no culture and the food truly reeked. I did not find the people friendly or engaging. I really hated Honduras.
